General Rules

For all rules which apply to every single epic.LAN Tournament, please read the appropriate place: (General Rules)

Admins reserve the right to change the format/schedule depending on the number of teams.

Tournament Format

  • Round Robin: BO3 (Friday)
  • Double Elimination: BO5 (Saturday)
  • Finals: BO7 (Saturday OR Sunday depending on schedule)

Match Settings

  • Server: Europe
  • Game Mode: Soccar
  • Size: 3v3
  • Match Time: 5 Minutes
  • Arenas: Players can choose from any of the current standard competitive maps.
  • Name/Password: Non-streamed match details are decided between teams. If your match is streamed you will be contacted by a tournament admin for details on Discord.

Refer to the stream schedule in Discord, to find if your game will be broadcasted.

Private Match Create & Join (Non-Streamed Matches)

  1. Teams contact each other through Discord.
  2. Agree on the host, and a Name & Password for the match.
  3. Host selects “Play Game" - select “Private Match”, then “Create Private Match”.
  4. Make sure “Joinable By” option is set to “Name/Password”.
  5. Host creates the Name & Password for players to enter.
  6. The opposing player selects “Play Game” - select “Join Private Match”.
  7. Players enter the Name & Password.
  8. Join teams when all 6 are in the lobby.
  9. The match will then begin.

Split Screen is not allowed in this tournament. Every player should be on their own PC or Console at the event.

A re-host can only be played with admin approval. If you need to re-host the lobby for any reason, ask a tournament admin before proceeding.

Only admins and approved casters are allowed to observe in game. Any exceptions should be discussed prior to the match by both teams and a tournament admin.

You must take screenshots of each match scoreboard at the end of the match. Both team leaders input the scores into the tournament system and then proceed to their next match.

We would advise that a replay should be archived on a player PC just so any problems or lack of screenshots can give us the information we need to proceed with the scores.

All players must be ready in the local lobby at least 5 minutes prior to scheduled time. If a team is in a prior match, then the opposing team and a tournament admin should be made aware of this.

If players do not show after 10 minutes, then that team will lose the first match of a best-of-three series. If it is 20 minutes after the schedule time, then that team will be defaulted.

Any extensions to this limit must be agreed upon with a tournament admin, provided any issues are communicated prior to the time limit.

These rules are subject to change. Tournament admin and tournament team leader decisions are always final.
